Bulk Properties of Nuclear Matter in the Relativistic Hartree Approximation with Cut-off Regularization
نویسنده
چکیده
A method of cut-off regularization is proposed to evaluate vacuum corrections in nuclear matter in the framework of the Hartree approximation. Bulk properties of nuclear matter calculated by this method are a good agreement with results analyzed by empirical values. The vacuum effect is quantitatively evaluated through a cut-off parameter and its role for saturation property and compressional properties is clarified. * e-mail address: [email protected]

The properties of nuclear matter with lattice NN potential in relativistic Brueckner-Hartree-Fock theory
We study the properties of nuclear matter with lattice nucleon-nucleon (NN) potential in the relativistic Brueckner-Hartree-Fock (RBHF) theory. To use this potential in such a microscopic many-body theory, we firstly have to construct a one-boson-exchange potential (OBEP) based on the latest lattice NN potential. Three mesons, pion, σ meson, and ω meson, are considered. Their coupling constants...
متن کاملNeutron Stars and Nuclei in the Modified Relativistic Hartree Approximation
We have examined the properties of neutron-rich matter and finite nuclei in the modified relativistic Hartree approximation for several values of the renormalization scale, μ, around the standard choice of μ equal to the nucleon mass M . Observed neutron star masses do not effectively constrain the value of μ. However for finite nuclei the value μ/M=0.79, suggested by nuclear matter data, provi...
متن کاملThe relativistic G-matrix approach and applications
The Dirac-Brueckner approach to the nuclear many-body problem is described. A family of relativistic mesonexchange potentials is used which apply the pseudovector coupling for the interaction of pseudoscalar mesons ( , ) with nucleons. These potentials describe low-energy two-nucleon scattering and the deuteron data accurately. Using these potentials, the properties of nuclear matter are calcul...
متن کاملSymmetric and asymmetric nuclear matter in the relativistic approach.
The properties of hot matter are studied in the frame of the relativistic Brueckner-Hartree-Fock theory. The equations are solved self-consistently in the full Dirac space. For the interaction we used the potentials given by Brockmann and Machleidt. The obtained critical temperatures are smaller than in most of the nonrelativistic investigations. We also calculated the thermodynamic properties ...
